MZ ACADEMY is currently working with a financial institution to offer support with competitive interest rates. This option will be available soon, providing more flexibility for our students. In the meantime, we offer flexible payment plans to help you manage the cost of your education.
At this time, MZ ACADEMY offers full-time, weekday programs designed to provide immersive training. We currently do not offer evening or weekend classes, but our schedule is structured to help you gain the skills needed for a successful career in barbering.
To obtain a hairstylist license in Ontario, you must complete a hairstyling diploma program, such as the one offered at MZ ACADEMY, or an approved apprenticeship program. After completing your training, you’ll need to pass the Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) exam administered by the Ontario College of Trades. This license allows you to work professionally as a hairstylist in Ontario.
The duration of the Hair Styling Program at MZ ACADEMY varies depending on whether you choose full-time or part-time study. Typically, our full-time program can be completed in 43 weeks. This comprehensive program is designed to equip you with all the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in hairdressing.
The Hair Styling Program at MZ ACADEMY is specifically designed for those looking to become professional hairstylists. This program covers all essential aspects of hairstyling, from cutting and coloring to client consultation and salon management, providing a well-rounded education that prepares you for a successful career.
Hairstyling diploma programs, like those at MZ ACADEMY, offer structured classroom and hands-on training in a shorter timeframe, focusing on comprehensive skill development in a controlled environment. Apprenticeship programs, on the other hand, involve on-the-job training under a licensed hairstylist and can take longer to complete. Both pathways lead to becoming a licensed hairstylist, but diploma programs are often faster and more focused on formal education.
